Best Comedy - Make me laugh

Best A/U - A made up plot that didn't happen in the series but could have.

Best Tear-Jerker - Make me cry or feel very sad.

Best Couple - This is a shipper video of a canon couple (Bangel, Spuffy, Willow/Tara, Willow/Oz, Xander/Cordelia, Xander/Anya, Giles/Jenny, Angelus/Drusilla, Angel(us)/Darla, Cangel, Cordelia/Doyle, Cordelia/Connor, Fred/Gunn, Fred/Wes, Angel/Gwen, etc).

Best Unconventional Couple - This is a shipper video of a fanon couple (Buffy/Xander, Willow/Amy, Buffy/Faith, Xander/Angel, Xander/Spike, Giles/Ethan, Angel(us)/Spike [I consider them canon personally, but from what you saw on the show it's fanon), Cordelia/Wes, Cordelia/Darla, Cordelia/Gunn, Fred/Angel, Fred/Cordelia, Angel/Wes, Angel/Gunn, Spike/Darla, Spike/Cordelia, etc).

Best Song - The song makes the video, in this case the video has to fit the song to a T.

Most Unique - Something different, whether it be a different view of a song or whatever.

Best Character - A video about a character.

Best Relationship - A video about the non-romantic/non-sexual relationship between the characters.  Basically, if the vid is about a relationship, but does not fit in the Best Couple, Best Unconventional or Most Romantic categories, then it goes here.  (ie: non-wincest vids about Sam/Dean's relationship or Angel/Connor, Buffy/Dawn, Buffy/Joyce)

Best Episodic - A video that deals with one episode or a 2-4 part episode.  (ie: Becoming I & II; This Year's Girl/Who Are You?/Five By Five/Sanctuary)

Best Seasonal - A video focused on a specific season of the series.

Judge's Choice - A favorite video out of the bunch.  All videos are automatically entered in this category.

Most Romantic - Best Couple does not mean Most Romantic.  I want to see those sweet, romantic moments between a couple (be it canon or unconventional).

Best POV - This is a video from one character's side of a situation.  Put me in their shoes.

Best Angst - This is a video dealing with all that depressing, angsty stuff minus the storyline in Best Drama.

Sexiest Video - A video that makes me tingle.  Doesn't have to be porn driven, just something that clicks with me.  Show me what you got.

Best Crossover - This is a video that crosses Angel, Buffy or Bones with another show (60% of the video has to be from either one or all three shows)
